Colossal premiers at the Icehouse with Kevin Shiu, Trever and Dublin's 'the K'. We had a whale of a good response, considering the DMC Scratch Contest was going on the same night. Thanks to everyone who joined us that evening and made it such monstrous success.

An exciting second night for Colossal. Building on the great start from last week, we heard some constructive sounds from Sean Brawley, or Minute Maid as he's more commonly known, but the big stars of the show were our residents Trever and the K, who rolled into the night like a couple of bulldozers.

This Saturday at Colossal was a great big surprise. Bringing local favorite Djanda together with our beat-crazed resident the K, the night was a hive of activity thanks to special last-minute guest Cliff Vermette. Harking from over the hills in big VanCity, Cliff's an old friend of the Colossal crew and came down to turn the night out with the strength of ten DJs. Cliff will be returning as a special resident when he has the time.

Colossal hosts the great wonder of the world DJ Jeffree's CD release party, the up-and-coming talent Cliff Vermette takes us through the catacombs of progressive house, and the K proves his status of Emperor of Colossal with his monumental set.

Victoria's greatest scratchmaster, Trever, builds up this night at Colossal. Special guest Demian connects some drum and bass, and resident the K knocks the whole building down with his progressive beats.

Sean Miller, hailing from the big city music scene of Toronto, comes West to crystalize his own version of melodic trance and techno to chill the senses. He and co-headliner of Dream One Summer, Cliff Vermette, bring us Christmas in July with their own rendition of icy underground beats at the Icehouse. "Is that a snowman?" you say - no, just our very special international DJ, the K, who's hard-driving vinyl selections are sure-fire anti-freeze for any winter blues. See you at the pole.

Don't get caught in traffic for this one... honk your horn and be prepared to pop the curb in order to get down to this show. Thomas Michael hops a ride on a jet plane and arrives in Victoria to bring us the taste of the big city. Park your ass in the Icehouse early, or you might miss your chance to ride the Thomas Michael bus into Colossal history. Rush hour begins at 11:00, so ask your boss to give you the night off.

Two local greats Grooverobber and Cliff Vermette put their heads and hands together to spin a web of trunk-like beats and floral melodies.
